MARBLEHEAD - Miss Edith M. Burridge, 69, of 13 Lattimer St., died Tuesday evening in the Mary A. Alley Hospital, 11 days after the death of her sister, Mrs. Maude B. Callahan.

Born in Marblehead, daughter of the late John B. and Katie (Best) Burridge, she was a lifelong resident of this town.

Miss Burridge was employed by the F.W. Woolworth Co. as a clerk for over 40 years until her retirement in 1969.

She formerly worked in the Salem store of the company until its closing, transferring to the Lynn store.

Miss Burridge is survived by 2 brothers, Henry Burridge of Marblehead and Frederick Burridge of Beverly; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Jutras of Beverly, and many nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Barbara Teague of Marblehead, with whom she resided, and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

Services will be held in the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, Friday at 2 p.m.
