Abial T. Finch m. Esther A. Hathaway, d/o of widow Sarah Hathaway. Sarah married Abial's father, and widower, Nathaniel Finch, after the death of his wife Mabel Meeker. Abial and Esther first appear in Nathaniel and Sarah's household in 1850 US Census, then with their daughter's Mary and Alvaretta M. Finch in the 1855 NY Census. Later they would have Cicero, George, Sarah, Olive, Herbert, and James.
