Alfred Married Margaret Emma Ritter and had four children, Mildred, Emma, Francis Theodore, Pearl.
In 1900, Alfred was stationed in the field at the Philippine War of Independence which erupted in 1899. He served as a Private in Army infantry. He also was drafted in WWI in 1918.
Alfred came from a long line of men who served his country with no questions asked. He fought for the rights we all cherish today. I never met my great, great uncle but I am proud to have researched his life and his devotion service to our great country.
