Pittsburgh Press, Pittsburgh PA, Sunday 10 February 1946, page 19 - THOMAS DELL LESNETT, SR., 93, descendent of the first settlers in the Bridgeville District, died Friday at his home on Lesnett Rd., Bridgeville. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. in Bethany Presbyterian Church, with burial following in Melrose Cemetery, Bridgeville. Mr. Lesnett was ruling elder of the Bethany Church for the past 57 years. He also was clerk of the church session for 56 years. He served as school director of Upper St. Clair Twp. for 25 years; was a charter member and director of Bridgeville Trust Co. and Melrose Cemetery. Mr. Lesnett was born April 14, 1852, in Upper St. Clair Twp., the son of MR. and MRS. WILSON LESNETT, pioneer residents. Surviving are his wife, MRS. MARTHA ALLISON LESNETT; four sons, four daughters, 26 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The sons include WILSON and THOMAS D. of Bridgeville; FRED A. of Lakeland, Fla; and A. MEALY, Phoenix, Ariz. The daughters are MISS SARA, living at home; MRS. GRACE SHAW and MRS. VIRGINIA LONGWELL of Brockway, Pa., and MRS. MAE WICKS, Paso Robles, Cal.
