Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Carolyn Wright Moore are scheduled for 2:00pm, Thursday, July 4, 2002 at Sardis United Methodist Church with Bro. Neil Hinson and Sister Irene Chandler officiating.
Burial will follow in Sardis City Cemetery. Mrs. Moore died early Tuesday at Lexington Methodist Hospital.
She was born may 8, 1922 in Henderson County to the late Robert and Minnie Freeman Wright.
She was retired, a member of Sardis United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School, and a former Alderman of Sardis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglass Moore and a sister, Elizabeth Kennedy.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Roger Gish of Hixson, TN, two sisters, Jean Kelley of Lexington and Catherine Phillips of Sardis, and three grandchildren, Gina Grubb, Robin Grubb, and Jake Gish.
