Elizabeth was a native of Maryland and resident of Ohatchee. She received a BS and Masters Degree from South Alabama and her RN Degree from University of Alabama Huntsville. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Melba Sue Oaks.
Survivors include her daughter, Briane Aust, of Ohatchee; son, Benjamin Aust, of Ohatchee; father, Clarence B. Oaks Jr., of Ohatchee; sister, Catherine Purdy, of Fairfax, Va.; several nieces and nephews.
