Emma was born at Uniontown, KY., the daughter of John G and Margaret Ferree Berry. She has been a resident of Hopkinsville for the past 46 years, coming to the county immediately after her marriage to the Hopkinsville attorney on Jan. 10, 1894.
Survivors in addition to Mr. Anderson include three daughters: Mrs. Tom D Harris and Katherine Anderson, both of this city and Mrs. Louis G Nash, now living at Blytheville, Ark.; one son, Berry Anderson, who makes his home at Centrahomas, Okla.; and two sisters, Mrs. Will Wright and Mrs. Jennie Evans, both of Morganfield.
Mrs. Anderson also leaves four grandchildren: Mrs. Fred Roper of this city; Mrs. Edward Brouddus of Murfreesboro, TN.; Bill Harris of Jacksonville, Fla.; and Tom Harris, Jr., a student at the University of Kentucky in Lexington; and one gr granddaughter, Margaret Carolyn Roper of this city.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the residence. Rites will be in charge of Dr. A R Kasey, pastor of the First Methodist Church where Mrs. Anderson had been a member for a number of years. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
