David Earl Allen, 21, of 4267 Orchard, died Tuesday at the McKay Hospital following an extended illness. He was born Nov. 30, 1947, in Ogden a son of Kenneth Earl and Avalon Baird Allen.
He worked at the Weber County Library.
He attended Washington Terrace Elementary School, Burch Creek School and South Ogden junior High School. He graduated from Bonneville High School in 1966 and was a senior at Weber State College.
He was a member of the LDS Weber State College 2nd Ward and was a member of the Sunday School Superintendency an dwas a couselor in the Elders quarum. He was secretary of Sigma Delta Pi.
Surviving are his parents of South Ogden; two brothers, Douglas Henry Allen, Ogden; Brent Ronald Allen, South Ogden.
