Obituary for Dena Van Eck printed in the GR Press Monday 1st of April 1935. Reads: Dena Van Eck, aged 82, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Glazier 534 Bissell St., N. E. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Leonard Doorn, Mrs. John Smith and Mrs. William Glazier; four sons, Samuel and Cornelius Van Eck , all of this city. Edward of Zeeland and Peter of Dearborn, Mich.; forty-three grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren, one sister in The Netherlands and one brother in Paterson, N.J. The body will repose at the home until Wednesday morning, when it will be taken to Van Strien's Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Interment in Greenwood cemetery. Please omit flowers.
