Ruby R. Stubblefield, 84, Cassville, died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at a Monett nursing home after a long illness.
Mrs. Stubblefield was born Sept. 12, 1905, near Seligman. She was a lifetime resident of the Cassville area. She was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church, Cassville. She married Albert N. Stubblefield on Nov. 7, 1931. He died Jan. 19, 1968. Survivors include two sons, Allen Stubblefield and Gilbert Stubblefield, both of Cassville; a daughter, Allene Brock, Cassville; two sisters, Cleo Cowherd, Miami, Okla., and Lucy Mitchell, Springfield; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Axley-Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. The Rev. Bob Neeley will officiate. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery, south of Cassville. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
