Mrs. Maxine Stewart Bussell, 64, of 1912 Alamance Church Road died Saturday, March 13, 1999, at the Moses Cone Extended Care Center.

Mrs. Bussell's funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 1999 in the Forbis & Dick, North Elm Chapel, with the Rev. Joey Tomlin and the Rev. Donald Trapp officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.Maxine Stewart Bussell was born in Surry County on Aug. 6, 1934 to the late Posy and Lillian Harbour Stewart. She was a retired supervisor with Blue Bell Inc. and a member of Southeast Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, James Sidney Bussell of the home; four sisters, Fern Tickle of Gibsonville, Melba Holliman of McLeansville, Burnell Vance of Emerald Isle, and Linda Plummer of Greensboro; and two brothers, McCray Stewart of Gibsonville and Kyle Stewart of Burlington.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. tonight at Forbis & Dick, North Elm Street and other times at the residence.
