Pamela Jill Douglas Alger, 38, died Wednesday in a Las Vegas hospital. She was born Dec. 29, 1960, in Salt Lake City. A homemaker, she was a 27-year resident of Las Vegas. She is survived by her husband, David; daughters, Heather and Jill; sons, Jimmy, Michael and Bobby; father, D.R. "Dick" Douglas; and sister, Dawn Eubanks, all of Las Vegas; stepfathers, Robert Horn of Yanceyville, N.C., and Herb Smelser of Las Vegas; and half brothers, David Douglas of Murray, Utah, Rick Douglas of Henderson and Steve Horn of Austin, Texas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary-Cheyenne and one hour prior to services at 2 p.m. Saturday in Valley Vista Ward chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
