THELMA MARIE (SKRETTING)
CULVER passed away in Pincher
Creek, Alberta on Sunday, May 23,
1993 at the age of 63 years.
Thelma was born on January 30
1930 at Bassano, Alberta. She spent
her first 40 or so years living in the
Circle Hill and Retlaw communities.
She then moved to Elkford, B.C.,
where she was employed by Fording
Coal and was working as a senior lab
analyst until her illness no longer
allowed her to do so. Thelma was a
lady who suffered many hardships
and over came them with
determination and hard work. She
earned the respect of all who knew
her, Thelma was predeceased by her
Mom and Dad, Erik and Margaret
Skretting; and by two brothers:
Raymond and Harold.
As a mother there was no better.
Her children always came first and
they thank her for her unconditional
love. She had 11 children, five boys
and six girls:
Thelma will also be sadly missed and
lovingly remembered by her 22
grandchildren; brother of Vancouver; a
large extended family and several
close friends.
The Funeral Service will be held in
St. Joseph's Catholic Church,
Vauxhall on Wednesday, May 26 at
2:00 P.M. with Father Fred Monk
officiating. Interment to follow in the
Vauxhall Cemetery. In lieu of
flowers, donations may be made to
S.T.A.R.S. Air Ambulance, 1441
Aviation Park N.E., Box 570,
Calgary, Alberta T2E 8M7.
