Shirley was born on February 4, 1944, in Fayette County, to the late Andrew and Lucinda Hall. She was a homemaker, a loving mother and an avid fisherman.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Roger Rowland and Alvin Russell Gooch; one brother, Andrew "Junior", and seven sisters, Carrie, Lucille, Evelyn, Doris, Barbara, Ethel and Cynthia.
Survivors include her children, Timothy (Stephanie) Rowland, Kim Breedlove, Angela (Larry) Cruse and Anthony Clark Rowland. She had eight grandchildren, Justin, Jacob, Verdie, Michelle, Jeffery, Jessica, Sarah and Haven. She also had eight great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. George "Jr." Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Manse Cemetery at Paint Lick.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Smith, Anthony Scenters, Billy Lamb, Paul Lamb, George Hall, and Dwayne Hall.
