Service for Ralph Cozzetto, 83, a former 53-year Spokane resident, is being planned for Saturday in Las Vegas, Nev.


Mr. Cozzetto died Thursday at Valley General Hospital in Las Vegas.


Born in Spokane, he served with the Quartermaster Corps in the Army during World War II.


Mr. Cozzetto had owned and operated the Saratoga Tavern & Cafe at Stevens and Sprague for a number of years and had been superintendent of Addison-Miller for 10 years. He also had been a new car salesman here and had been a member of the Spokane Jaycees.


After moving to Las Vegas in 1959, he had been a bartender for various clubs and operated an advertising business. He was an active member of the Las Vegas Senior Center.


His wife, Margery Cozzetto, died in 1988.


Survivors include two daughters, Jeanneane LaMotte of Burnsville, N.C., and Rochelle Cozzetto of Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Estelle Naccarato of Spokane; one brother, Sam Cozzetto of Spokane; and three grandchildren, Jeremy. and Michelina LaMotte and Shannon Cozzetto.
