Noble Ira Fearnot, 75, of Bedford, Iowa, died Thursday, July 8,1987,at his home. Services will be 2pm Saturday at the Shum-Novinger Funeral Home here. He was born Aug 15, 1911, in Marco, Greene Co., Indiana to Ira & Dorcas Whitworth Fearnot. On Oct 3, 1931 he married Elsie Irene Ridenour in Grant City, Missouri. He was a farmer & carpenter, living in the Bedford & surrounding community for most of his life. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Marco, IN, the Bedford Rock Club & the Hawkeye Gem & Mineral Club.
Survivors include four daughters, two sons, two sisters, 1 brother, 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 4 step great-grandchildren.
Besides his wife, Elsie, he was preceded in death by a daughter, his parents, a grandson, a great-granddaughter, two sisters & four brothers.
