Obituary - Patchogue, L.I., April 10 - The funeral of Mary Jane Lord, wife of the Rev. Edward Lord, was held from her late home on Baker Street, yesterday afternoon, the Rev. C.N. Gleason officiating. Interment was in the family plot at Cedar Grove Cemetery. The deceased was the daughter of the late Anthony Saunders of Williamstown, Mass. and a descendent of the settlers of Providence, R.I., her ancestors marrying into the family of Roger Williams. Beside her husband the deceased leaves two children, Chester S. Lord, managing editor of the New York Sun and Mrs. Anna C. Merritt, wife of the Chinese missionary, Dr. C.P.W. Merritt of Clifton Springs, N.Y. Mrs. Lord died last Saturday.
And - Patchogue, April 6, Mary J.S., widow of Rev. Edward Lord, ae 75 years.
