"TITUSVILLE LAD WAS KILLED AT TIDIOUTE - Tidioute, July 24 - Wayne, the young son of Arthur Emerson of Tidioute was accidentally killed Thursday afternoon while playing on a pile of logs at the hub factory. He was standing on the highest log which was a number of feet above the ground. The log started to roll and threw him to the ground, other logs following. He was crushed across the head and chest. When help reached him he was still breathing, but died in a few minutes. The lad was visiting his grandparents, Mr and Mrs Jim Emerson. The father and mother, Mr and Mrs Arthur Emerson, arrived via automobile last evening, about 8 o'clock. Arrangements for the funeral have not yet been announced."
