The sober pall of death came to sadden the home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Miller, of Burdick, Tuesday night of last week, when their daughter, Elizabeth, aged twelve, passed away. The little one had been sufferer from an attack of scarlet fever, one of the most violent kind, and the results were fatal, although everything possible was done to prolong her life. Another child of Mr. and Mrs. Miller has also been sick for weeks, and times her life has been despaired of. The sympathy of the entire community go out to the bereaved parents in this their dark hour of grief. The funeral took place Wednesday of last week, and interment was made at the Brookside Cemetery.
