Mrs. Lora Miller, formerly of 411 South Columbia Avenue in Campbellsville, daughter of the late Mr. Robert Miller and Mrs. Vina Ledbetter Miller, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, February 26, 1884. She died at 6:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 1st at the Georgetown Nursing Home in Louisville. She had been a patient there for the past six weeks. Age: 86. She professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Campbellsville First United Methodist Church. She united in marriage to Mr. John H. Miller, May 19, 1909. He was a well-known progressive farmer and fertilizer dealer here in Campbellsville and Taylor County for many years before his death March 22, 1960. Survived by two daughters: Mrs. Richard (Mabel) Borders and Miss Adeline Miller, both of Louisville and both teachers in the Jefferson County School System. Funeral services were conducted at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 3rd in the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Dr. Rual Perkins, Rev. Dan Harmon of Louisville, and Rev. Marshall Owen. Burial in the Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Seaborn Maultsby, Nolin Gilpin, Jr., Barry Bertram, Dennis Smith, Dick Reese, Henry A. Buchanan, Jr.
