Lylie Brown Wood, age 93, of Maysville, GA, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012.
She is survived by her sons and daughters in law: Dwight and Estelle Wood of Maysville, GA, Preston and Charlotte Wood of Grayson, GA, sister, Ruby Hall of Forest Park, GA, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Wood, parents, Wesley and Victoria (Haney) Brown, infant daughter, Sarah Wood, Son, Charles Wood, Grandson, Dwight Wood, Jr., Great Granddaughter, Stephanie Cash, 6 brothers and sisters. Lylie was born in Gwinnett County, GA. She was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church, Stone Mountain, Ga. She retired from Nabisco after 37 years of service.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Lylie Wood will be on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Wages Snellville Chapel. Interment will follow in the Eternal Hills Cemetery.
