REID, Margery Jean (Age 77) Passed away at home on March 25, 2010 due to complications from pneumonia. She was born in Clark Fork, ID on April 22, 1932 to parents, Loren and Pauline Smith. In grade school, Margery, her parents and older brother Ralph moved to Spokane, WA. Margery graduated from Rogers High School in 1950. She enjoyed her time as Honored Queen of Job's Daughters Bethel #12 and later with her daughters as Guardian of Bethel #60. In retirement, she enjoyed being a member of past Honored Queen's here in Spokane. In high school she met her husband Clair Reid who was in the Air Force and stationed at Fairchild. On September 10, 1950 they were married at Lidgerwood Presbyterian Church and would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this fall. Margery spent much of her time raising her four children, Tom, Virginia, Pattie and Carolyn. She also worked in the office at their family business, Bestway Fuel & Spray. They also enjoyed spending time together as a family camping and fishing. In 1982, they built a house on the south side of Brown's Mountain that Margery thoroughly loved. Many family holidays were joyously spent at their home. She also enjoyed planting flowers and the wildlife that came through the yard, including the bluebirds and deer. Margery is survived by her loving husband Clair, son Tom Reid (Peggy), three daughters, Virginia Bjorkman (Jeff), Pattie Ellis (Rick) and Carolyn Dineen (Mike). She has nine grandchildren, Kristi, Beth, Jeannie, Mike, Eric, Scott, Chris, Corey and Kayla and seven great-grandchildren with the eighth great-granddaughter due in August. A Memorial Service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home at 3:00PM on Friday, April 2, 2010. In her memory, donations may be made to Hospice of Spokane. www.heritagefunerals.com
