Doris C. (Fehr) Fackenthall, 83, of Bethlehem, formerly of Hellertown, died Thursday, April 16, 2009 in her residence. She was the wife of the late Stanley R. Fackenthall, who died Oct. 4, 1978. Born in Fountain Hill on December 20, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Lottie (Kies) Fehr. She owned and operated a daycare from her home for six years. Doris was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Bethlehem. She was a former member of Christ Lutheran Church, Hellertown, and the Moravian Stars, Bethlehem.

Survivors: Two sons, Richard S. and his wife, Christina, of Littleton, Colo., Scott E. and his wife, Lori Kochanski, of Easton; two daughters, Linda D., wife of Frank E. Benzak, of Bethlehem,Donna M., wife of William Mackaravitz, of Bethlehem;12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Predeceased in death by a daughter, Lori S. George, brother, Lester Fehr, and sister, Ina R. Reinbold.

Services: memorial, 10 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2009 in St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 521 E. Locust Street, Bethlehem. There will be no calling hours. The interment will conclude services in Union Cemetery, Hellertown.
