William K. Bradshaw of New York City and Falmouth died at St.Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital on October 16, 2010 after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Chicago in 1951 and raised in Taunton, he was a 1969 graduate of Msgr. Coyle High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from Fairfield University and his master's degree from Hofstra University. Bill spent his entire career as an insurance underwriter working in New York City at Johnson & Higgins, March & McLennan, and most recently as a Senior Vice President at Arthur J. Gallaher & Co. Bill was a devoted Red Sox fan and enjoyed traveling to spend time with his many dear friends. He was an active member of the Racing Beach Association. Cape Cod always held a special place in Bill's heart. He is survived by his beloved brothers: James and his wife Ann of Falmouth, Terence and his wife Patricia of Raynham, and Thomas and his wife Debby of Santa Ynez, California, and five nieces and nephews: Rheanna, Tara, David, Jeffrey, and Molly. A period of visitation will be from 10:00 to 11 :OO AM on Wednesday, October 20 at the Chapman, Cole, and Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Falmouth.
