Albert Lee McCoy, aged 27, died December 9, 1959, in an El Paso, Texas hospital of injuries suffered October 28 in a motorcycle accident on U. S. Highway 260 west of Silver City, NM. He was born November 3, 1931. He served two years in the U. S. Army in Germany and came home September, 1958. He was associated with his father, Mack L. McCoy, in the operation of a garage in Silver City. They also owned the Dodge dealership.
His funeral service, held in the Cox Mortuary Chapel, was conducted by A. R. Aman of the Assembly of God Church. At the cemetery he was given full military honors. Those surviving him included his wife Lucille Godberry McCoy(whom he married on October 5, 1951) and four sons, Albert Wayne, Dale Lee, Dwight Lloyd and Rickey; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Mack L. McCoy; and a sister Mrs. Maxine Flowers.
