Magoo

What do you think of when you hear the name "Magoo", a little man with thick glasses?

To our Family the name Magoo, means Mom, Grandmother, Friend, and Helping Hands.

Magoo was always there for us as we were growing up as a loving and supportive Mom….such as a Spaghetti Dinner at 2:00 am after a double feature at the drive in theater in Twin Falls, playing Pool to all hours of the night. One Spring, we gathered all our friends together to assist her in cleaning her large yard, this event became "The Garden Party" she was right in the middle of a great Soccer Game until John accidently kicked her instead of the ball and he yelled "Oh My Gosh, I've killed Magoo" as she went down to the ground, she was just fine, but dropped out of the game. These are just a few things about Magoo that we all shared and loved. Any place you went in Gooding County seemed like someone knew Magoo.

On occasion as we drink a Pepsi, we think of Magoo, she always had Pepsi on hand BY THE CASES five and six high, in glass bottles. As much Pepsi as she drank over the years, Pepsi should have a Magoo Brand Pepsi.

She was always there to help guide her children and grandchildren. One time a granddaughter called for driving directions, Grandma Goo knew just what to do, and she arrived safely at Grandma's house. Her Grandchildren were always calling her, for advice on life's problems.

Magoo, we will take your laughter, love, and caring on to our children, grandchildren and friends, and will encourage future generations, to follow your inspiration.
We will turn our sorrow into loving memories and stories and will always keep you in our hearts.

It is time Magoo for you to return to the loving arms of your one and only true love after 41 years. We love you Magoo and Daddy. We will miss you.

(This compiler, though not the author, will miss her geneology input as well, Gwena knew alot about the history of the making of Hagerman Valley and its families.I had numerious conversations in person as well as over the phone about the "WHO is WHO" of Hagerman.) Magoo you will be greatly missed.
