Albert Kirchner, 68, of Rt. 1 Powers died suddenly at 6:30 a.m. today at his home.
He was born March 5, 1902 in Chicago and came to Spalding 12 years ago, residing there since that time. Mr. Kirschner was married to the former Amelia Karl, Sept. 2, 1924 in Spalding and he was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church. He was engaged in farming.
Survivors include his widow: four sons, Allen and Rolland of Powers, Joseph of Fredonia, Wis., and Vernon of Vulcan; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Marsicek of Wilson and Mrs. Emil Gaede of Milwaukee; four brothers, Henry, John, Joseph and William of Powers; one sister, Mrs. Anna Karl of Nadeau, 38 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the KellTondin Funeral Home in Spalding from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and the Parish Rosary will be recited at 8:15 p m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Church with the Rev. Lester Bourgeois officiating and burial will be in the Spalding Township Cemetery.
