Actress. A native of Jamaica, Coburn was born Paula Murad, later moving to Cleveland, Ohio, with her parents, and then to Washington, D.C., where she was educated and then became host of the television series, "Real Estate Digest." She later decided to further her acting career and she moved to Hollywood, California, where she met and married film actor, James Coburn on October 22, 1993. She went on to appear on television in an episode of, "USA High" in 1997 as a reporter and in the films, "The Set Up" (1995), as 'Julia', "I Surrender All" (2001), as 'Doctor Null', and "American Gun" as 'Jasmine', alongside her husband. The Coburns were also involved in charities and together founded the James and Paula Coburn Foundation, which made countless donations to such charities as the Motion Picture & Television Fund, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association, and the SMILE Foundation, among many others. The Coburns continued to act and donate until James passed away from a heart attack on November 18, 2002. Paula, who also acted under Paula O'Hara, continued to do the same until she passed away in 2004 at the age of 48 following a battle with cancer.
