Kilmer Otho Roundy, our loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Otho & Verna Fitzgerald Roundy in Kanab, Utah, on May 1, 1926. He was raised in Draper, Utah and Palmyra, New York, where he later graduated from High School. He served in the Navy in WWII, and when he returned he attended Utah State University where he received his degree in teaching.

On October 2, 1947, he married the love of his life, Phyllis Powell in the Salt Lake Temple for Time and all Eternity. Together they raised three boys, Brian K., Val W. and Clive T. Roundy.

He made his career in teaching at Farrer Jr. High School where he served for 38 years. He retired and moved to St. George where he did contracting until he was 80 years old.

Kilmer is survived by his children, Brian (Ann); Val (Corine); Clive (Kristine); 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one sister Golda (Vernon) Greenland, two brothers Elmo (Merle) Roundy and Verl (Dawn) Roundy, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Otho and Verna Roundy, his loving wife Phyllis P. Roundy, grandson Cody T. Roundy and a great-granddaughter Jacelynn Roundy.

The family of Kilmer Roundy would like to thank Cove Point Assisted Living Center for all their loving care. They would also like to personally thank Maria and Dora for taking such wonderful care of their father.

Family and friends may attend a viewing Friday, June 29th, 2012, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Walker Sanderson Tribute Center, 85 East 300 South, Provo, Utah. Graveside service Friday morning at 11 am with full Military Rites at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah.
