DIES AT HOME
William Graham Killen, aged 82.
a resident of this county for many
year, died at his home at South
Bradford yesterday at 8:30 p. m.
He had been in ill health for the
past year but had been confined
to his bed for only the past three
weeks.
Born March 22, 1854, at Johnstown,
Pa., he came to the Bradford
oil field when a young man.
For 34 years, beginning in 1898, he
had been employed by the South
Penn Oil company as a pumper at
Bordell. He retired four years ago
and moved to South Bradford.
Mr. Killen was well known
throughout the oil fields. He was
a member of the Bradford First
Methodist church.
Surviving him are a daughter,
Miss Ada Pearl Killen of Bordell
road, and two sisters, Mrs. Zora
Hopkins of Armagh, Pa., and Miss
Kaggie Killen of Akron, O.
The body has been removed to
the Koch Memorial chapel. Funeral
announcement will be made later.
