Services for Mrs. Mamie Forbis, 68, who died Saturday at Ellsworth Municipal Hospital, will be at the Cottage Community Church, southwest of Iowa Falls, Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. and Mrs. H. I. Surls and the Rev. Dewey Lamprecht will officiate. Burial will be in the Cottage Cemetery. The Anderson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Mamie Axtell, a daughter of Oren L. and Loretta Axtell. Aug. 2, 1897 in Hardin County. She was married to A. K. Forbis at Eldora Dec. 22, 1931.
Survivors include widower, one daughter, Mrs. Hollis (Betty Lou) Warren of Iowa Falls; one son, Robert Lee, at home; two brothers, Alfred Axtell and Louis Axtell, both of Iowa Falls.
