Stanford – Everett T. Elliott, 70, of Stanford Route 4, died at 3 a.m. today at Fort Logan Hospital after an illness.
He was a native of Lincoln County and retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Elliott of Stanford Route 4; a son, William "Buck" Elliott of Stanford Route 4; two daughters, Lillian VonLinger of Stanford and Caterine McClure of Danville; three sisters, Deanie Hooker of Reading, Ohio, Gertrude Padgett of Louisville and Nell Yocum of Stanford; and four grandchildren.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Morgan and Fox Funeral Home. THe Rev. Albert Gisler will officiate. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Thursday.
