ROSE MARIE SHROCK
Funeral services were held Jan. 18 for Rose Marie Shrock, 72, of Florence. She died as a result of a stroke Jan. 12 at Canon City.
Services were held at the Florence Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Dave Besko officiating.
Mrs. Shrock was born Aug. 31, 1927 in Elkton to Albert and Beatrice Violet Snyder. She lived most of her life in Florence, with the exception of a few years when she lived in Texas.
She was a homemaker and loved working in her yard, spending time with her family, crocheting and involvement with her church, the Florence Nazarene Church.
She and Otha T. Schrock were married in New Mexico in 1950. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son, a stepson and a stepdaughter. Also surviving are three sisters, numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, a stepson Gale Shrock, a sister Iva Snyder and a brother, Joshua Snyder.
Burial was at Union Highland Cemetery with Charles Anthony Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
