There has been extensive research currently completed on the Allwein Family. Here is what was published about Conrad:
He did have a child with his first wife Elizabeth. All that is known so far is that her name was Catherine and she married Jacob Noel. She was deceased at the time of her father's death and is named in a case filed to the orphan's court. Several documents were found which attest to those children living at the time of Conrad's death on February 9, 1846. One of these is on file with the Adams County Orphan's Court, which I excerpt below. The case had to appear before the Orphan's Court because the support of minor children was involved. These were the children of Catherine (Alwine) Noel, who died and left three children.
The case file reads as follows: To the Honorable judge of the Orphan's Court of Adams County: The petition of Samuel Allwine, one of the administrators of all and singular, the goods, chattels, lands and tenements which were of Conrad Allwine, late of Hamilton Township of said County ... left at the time of his death, a widow, to wit, Susannah, and heirs, to wit,James, Conrad, John, Michael, Elizabeth (intermarried with Caleb Breighner), Susan, your petitioner, and Catherine Noel's children, to wit, Juliana, John and Michael Noel, who are minors and whose guardian is Jacob Noel.
Here is the list of all the children born to Conrad & Susanna: Samuel, James, Conrad Sep 1813, Maria, John Adam, Peter, Michael(my grgrgrandfather)1817, Mark, Mary Elizabeth, Mary Susanna.
