GLOUSTER--Daniel Hook, 73, Civil War veteran, died at his home in this city yesterday morning at 12:10 from heart trouble. Mr. Hook had not been in good health for some time and was confined to his home for about a month prior to his death. His widow and several children survive. Funeral services will be held at the Hollister church Saturday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Harry M. Wilson, pastor of the Church of Christ. Interment will be made in the Hollister cemetery.

According to his Ohio Death Certificate, Daniel was the son of George Hook. He was married to Malinda Hook.
