Frances Lorraine (Phillips) Robertson born December 8, 1913 – June 25, 2012 long time Taft resident 1943-2012 preceded by her parents Jose Herbert Banzet and Bessie (Bea) Parsons, son Phillip Dewayne Phillips, sister Lola (Bunny) Seegar, grandson Gary Sinclair. Survived by daughters, niece, half-sisters, half-brother, 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, caretakers DeeDe, Lynda and Marily, who became her second family at the Taft Senior Care, Mercy Hospice and Chaplain Richard. She loved the Lord and her favorite thing was to watch her church show on T.V. She will be missed and remembered by all that loved and knew her. She never knew a stranger and would feed anyone hungry. She would gather shoes, clothes and food and give to any in need. Always putting others needs before hers. She will be remembered for her stories of Boreno. This is where she spent her teens when her stepfather was transferred there in the mid 1920's with the oil company he worked for. Many remember her as the lady who swept the sidewalk up and down the 100 block of Harrison St., also talking to all that passed her street. Always ready to show how limber she was by touching her elbows to the ground until her illness 4 yrs. ago. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 11:00 am. No visitation is scheduled. In lieu of flowers she asked that a small donation be made to Labors of the Harvest or feed any in need. She now has her wings. We will see you later LUV.
