Obituary

Mr. Freddie Langley, 73, of Newnan, GA, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica. He was born August 19, 1938, in Coweta County to the late William Oren Langley & Mary Flossie Lesley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Cliff Langley, Thomas Langley, Mary Justiss, Mildred Meachan, Maggie Langley; grandchild, Dennis Mark Langley II.

Freddie was a member of Elim Baptist Church, was a Master Mason & member of Coweta Lodge #60 F&AM, and an honorary member of Georgia Sheriff's Association. Freddie made many friends in his longtime career at Lee-King Pharmacy delivering medications to area residents.

The funeral is Sunday, July 1 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

The visitation is Saturday evening between 6 - 8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Reba Langley; children, Tony Langley of Temple, Mark Langley of Temple, Zina Langley of Temple, Dana (Jackie) Horn of Temple; sisters, Peggy Adams, Genelle (Jimmy) Davenport, Jean Spencer, Linda (Warner) Crow; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
