Ardmore — Funeral Services for Mr. Buner Shane Adkins, 20, of Wilson are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at the Bethel Assembly of God Church of Ardmore with Bro. Charles Reed, Bro. Dewain Duck and Bro. Jim Duck officiating. Interment will follow at Reck Cemetery south of Wilson. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.



Shane was born July 30, 1991, at Wilson to David Bruce Adkins, Sr. and Debra Ann (Beard) Adkins. He departed this life Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Oklahoma City.



Shane was raised south of Wilson with his family living on a farm. He enjoyed the country life and attending school at home with his brothers and sisters. He had just began employment for C&M Roustabout of Healdton, eight months ago and was developing true Christian relationships with a lot of his co-workers. Shane loved to fish and make fishing lures with his father. He loved riding his motorcycle and playing his guitar. He never met a stranger and would do anything for anybody and always shined with God's blessings. Shane was a faithful member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church of Ardmore.



Preceding him in death is his grandmother, Betty Beard.



Survivors include his parents, David and Debra Adkins of Wilson; siblings, Tammy Smith of Lone Grove, David Adkins, Jr. of Grand Saline, Texas, Joe Adkins of Oklahoma City, Gary Adkins of Wilson, Steven Adkins of Lexington, Debra Adkins , Rebecca Adkins, and Peony Adkins all of Wilson; grandparents, Dwayne Beard of Van, Texas, Ruth Adkins also of Van, Texas, and Bruce and Shirley Adkins of Tyler, Texas; nieces and nephews, C.J. Burks, Kevin Burks, Dawson Adkins, Shawn Adkins, Kelsey Adkins and David Adkins, III.



Pallbearers are C.J. Burks, Kevin Burks, Mike Cox, Michael Murray, Steve Adkins and John Garcia.



Honorary bearers are David Adkins, Jr. and Joe Adkins.



Family visitation will be from 6- 8 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
