ommy Vincent Traxler, 85 of St. Peter, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Minnesota Valley Health Center in Le Sueur.

Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center on Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. Funeral Services will also be at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center at 10:00 a.m. A private burial at a later date will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Center. Military Honors will be provided by the Le Center area Veteran's Honor Guard.

Tommy was born on May 2, 1927 at St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato to Joseph and Rose (White) Traxler. He graduated from Cleveland High School and was in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1954.

Tommy was united in marriage to Kathryn E. Krenik on August 30, 1951 in Kilkenny.

He worked for Distal Grain System in Le Sueur. Tommy was a member of the American Legion in Cleveland and the Catholic Order Foresters. He enjoyed traveling, camping and playing cards.

Tommy is survived by wife; Katy E. Traxler; son, Dwight Traxler of Amboy, sisters; Joan Black of Burnsville, Ramona Rosemeier of Murdock, Rosemary (and Richard) Wondra of Lake Washington, Patsy (and Art) Bell of Hopkins, brother, Ted (and Sandy) Traxler of Hutchinson, Grandson, Jonathon Traxler, Cookville, Tenn. brother-in-law Jiggs Queen of Elysian,

He is preceded in death by his parents; 5 children James, Herbert, Mary, Kathryn and Randy, siblings Harry, Herbert, Catherine Hauch and Rita Queen.
