The Hall family lived on several different farms in Fillmore county. In the year 1919 they purchased a farm in Chelsea township, residing there until 1945, when they retired from the farm and moved to Geneva, where they purchased a lovely home which she enjoyed to the fullest extent until her illness became so acute.

She was a kind, true and loving wife, devoted to outdoor life and always willing to help do whatever was to be done. She had a quiet and kind disposition which won her may friends.
