Wife of Ludwig Paul Wienhues. Daughter of Johann Dickman and Gertrud Liesenklas of Kirchhellen, Nordrhein-Westfallen, Germany. She married Ludwig Paul Wienhues on October 12, 1940 in Neubeckum, Westfalen, Germany. Well educated and in addition to her native German spoke French, English and Latin. Knowledgeable about the horticultural world. She battled several kinds of cancer sucombing finally to cancer of the stomach. Survived by her children, Antje (Werner) Meyer of Geretsried, Germany; Dorothea (Wolf) Tscherney of Traben-Trarbach, Germany; Professor Doktor Jens Wienhues of Koeln, Germany; Beate (Hans-Walter) Schneider of Bottrop, Germany; Renate (Bernd) Pieper of Recklinghausen, Germany; and a son-in-law, Captain (USAF) Frederick Beisser of Hahn Air Base, Germany, as well as grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
