Mr. Warren Ivan Badgett, 89, of Dobson, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home with his loving family by his bedside.
He was born in Surry County on July 13, 1921, to the late Joseph and Mary Eads Badgett.
Mr. Badgett was a retired farmer and attended Blues Grove Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in Blues Grove Baptist Church cemetery.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Badgett was preceded in death by three sisters, Anna Branch, Inez and Mildred Johnson; a brother, Floyd Badgett; and his only grandson, Joseph Paul "Joe" Badgett.
