AUBURN--Hal L. Tyree, Sr., 62, of 4 Clarendon Road died Monday in his home after an illness.
Mr. Tyree was an electrician at Wyman-Gordon Co., Wocester, 35 years, retiring in 1985.
He attended Pakachoag Church.
He leaves his wife, Pearl R. (Mominee) Tyree, two sons, Hal L. Tyree, Jr. and Kevin L. Tyree, and a daughter, Sandra D. Tyree, all of Auburn, three brothers, Gene Tyree of West Branch, Mich., Max Tyree of White Pigeon, Mich. and Richard Tyree of Arkansas, three sisters, Marjorie Kratschmer of Kansas City, Mo., Phyllis, wife of Thomas Ness of Arlington, Texas and Jannelle, wife of Robert Murphy, of Denver, Colo; two granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.
He was worn in Pawhaska, Okla., a son of Ralph W. and Beuhla L. (McClure) Tyree, and lived in Auburn 34 years. Previously, he lived in Grafton.
Mr. Tyree was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St. The Rev. Gina Colorio will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home are 7 to 9 tonight.
The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial contributions may be made instead to the Cancer Research Fund of the Worcester Foundation for Experimental Biology, 222 Maple Ave, Shrewsbury, 01545.
