Susan Adams, a valiant daughter, sister, mother and friend passed away August 9, 2004 from a pulmonary embolism. She was born on July, 22 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Preston and Carol Adams. She graduated from Highland High School and the University of Utah. Susan married Alan Astin in 1978 in the Salt Lake Temple and later divorced. They are the parents of one son, Ryan James. She was an active member of the LDS church and served in various callings. Susan is survived by her parents, her son and friend, Ryan (Karla), siblings: Linda (Douglas) Devore, Sharon (Ron) Nelson, and Stephen (Heather) Adams. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her especially her buddy" Johnny." Funeral Services held Friday, Aug 13, 2004 in the Taylorsville 39th Ward Chapel (4932 S. 3200 W.) Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
