Inscription: [Edit]
The Dutch inscription is from the book of Revelation, Chapter 14 vs. 13, the last part—here is the King James Version:
And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them."
This is the New International Version:
Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”
