Abigail (Abbie) Johnson, daughter of John and Sallie Harper Johnson, was born 27 Jun 1817, in Fayette County, Ohio. She married William Wood, son of Thomas and Catherine McClure Wood, 3 May 1836 also in Fayette County. To them were born five children, Rebecca Jane, Jesse, Katherine Ann, William and Simeon. William died on 9 Sept 1884. Abbie married Henry Arnold in Fayette county. Abbie, at age 82, died in Perry Township, Pickaway County, Ohio on 22 Jan 1899 and is buried in the Blue/Old White Oak Cemetery in Fayette County, Ohio. William along with three of their children, who died young, are buried in the same cemetery.∼81y 6m 26d
