Clarence E. "Ed" McKimmy 68, of Oblong died at 7:30 am Saturday, March 29, 1997, in Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson. He was born March 22, 1929, in Clark County to Clarence McKimmy and Gladys McKimmy. His first wife, Lois Taylor McKimmy, died July 26, 1987.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret McKimmy; one daughter, Melody Krick; three brothers, George McKimmy, Chuck McKimmy and Emory McKimmy; four sisters, Mary Mechling, Roseanna Freeman, Bonnie Carter and Ruth Winger; two grandchildren; and several neices and nephews. There are no services or visitation. Burial is in Waggoner Cemetery, south of Oblong. Pulliam Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
