Funeral service for Bobby Gene Burnette, 74, will be Friday, May 4, 2012, 11 a.m. at Odena Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Courson officiating. Burial will be in Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo at 2 pm with military honors. Mr. Burnette passed away May 1, 2012 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Irene Burnette. He was a member of Odena Baptist Church and a native of Clanton, AL. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Survivors are his wife, Carol Ann Burnette of Sylacauga; daughters, Kim Wade (David) of Dallas, TX and Ginger Burton (David) of Montgomery, AL; son, Bobby B. Burnette of Texas; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother Phillip Dale Burnette; sister, Betty Ruth Partridge of Las Vegas, Nev. Visitation will be Friday, May 4, 2012, 10-11 at Odena Baptist Church.
