POUGHKEEPSIE - Marguerite J
Andros, 95, a longtime Hyde Park resident
and formerly of Poughkeepsie,
died Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the
Lutheran Care Center.
A graduate of Poughkeepsie
schools, Mrs. Andros was a homemaker.
Born in Benniwater, NY on September
18,1912, she was the daughter
of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth
Keresman Balogh.
On March 19,1932 in Hyde Park,
she married Anthony J. Andros. Her
husband predeceased her on May 22,
2003.
Survivors include her son, Peter
J. Andros and wife, Katherine, of Hyde
Park; four grandchildren, Peter M.
Andros of Washington, D.C., Bradley
J. Andros and wife, Carolyn, of
Charleston, SC, Katherine Kerin and
husband, Leslie Stevens, of Hyde
Park, and Elizabeth Carver and husband,
Kirk, of Houston, TX; three great
granddaughters, Nell Stevens, and
Skye and Piper Andros; two sisters,
Esther Balogh Anthony of Hyde
Park, and Rita Balogh of North Carolina;
and several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was
predeceased by two sisters, Elizabeth
Balogh Johnson and Mary Balogh
Telelo; and a brother, Louis B. Balogh.
There are no calling hours. In accordance
with her wishes, cremation has
taken place.
A memorial service will be held at
a later date.

Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
