He was born in Surry County on June 23, 1949, to Mae Forrest and the late Clyde Anderson.
He retired from Spencer's Manufacturing after many years of dedicated service.
Left to cherish his memory are two sons and daughters-in-law: Robert and Donna Anderson, and Richard and April Anderson; two granddaughters: Charlotte Anderson and Kathryn Anderson; his mother, Mae Forrest; a sister, Alice Anderson; a brother and sister-in-law, Burley Johnson, Jr. and wife Glenda; and the mother of his children, Linda Brinkley.
In addition to his father, Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest "Karo" Anderson; and his stepfather, Richard Forrest.
The family will have a private service at a later date. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home, but the family will be gathering at the home of his brother, Burley Johnson, Jr.
